My Wish Came True została nagrana 6 września 1957 roku w Radio Recorders Hollywood. Elvis tę kompozycie próbował nagrać jeszcze dwu krotnie 23 stycznia i 1 lutego 1958r. Obie próby do dzisiejszego dnia nie ujrzały światła dziennego. Singiel A Big Hunk O`Love / My Wish Came True (RCA Victor 47-7600) ukazała się w lipcu 1959roku. a w grudniu tego samego roku piosenka trafia na płytę długogrającą Elvis` Gold Records, vol. 2 (50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can`t Be Wrong LPM-2075).
